Mr. Jackie Leon Mitchell, age 74, of Chatsworth passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents. Oda and Elmie Mitchell, a son, Charles McWhorter.
Survivors include his wife, Lomer Mitchell. Children, Ricky Mitchell, Ronnie Mitchell of Ball Ground, Leon Mitchell and Kenneth Mitchell both of Chatsworth, Barbara Sue Allen of Winder. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be Thursday 2 pm from the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy Deal officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 12 noon till the funeral hour Thursday.
