Norton-Edith Irene Vezina, 85, also known as "Gram Cook" and "GG" passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Epoch Senior Healthcare of Norton. She was the daughter of the late John and Etta (Brazil) Sanders.
Edith was born in Blaney, SC on November 4, 1927. She lived for many years in Natick and has been a Norton resident for over 20 years.
Edith worked for many years for Zayre’s/Ames in Natick and Mansfield. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield. She was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed spending time on the beach.
Beloved mother of Mary E. Cook and her late husband David Cook of Norton and John J. Vezina and his partner Catherine Salisbury and her two children of Plainville. As well as Mary Ellen Vezina of Bellingham . Also survived by Five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St, in Foxborough. A funeral prayer service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours.
