Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late James Lauren and Nellie Blanche Fuller.
Mr. Davis was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service and a member of Welcome Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Leigh D. Seawright and husband, Robert, of Powdersville; son, Michael Davis of Greenville; two grandsons, Taylor Seawright of Las Vegas and William Seawright of Powdersville; a great grandson, Rilyn Cooper Estep of Las Vegas; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Davis of Dublin, GA; sister, Martha Davis of Greenville; longtime family friends, Randy and Estelle Edwards; their sons, Robert and Christopher Edwards; Randy and Sue Whitworth and family; and Carolyn Smeltzer. He was predeceased by a sister, Margie Pearl Davis.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West.
