Everett Muller, 88, of Lyman, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Everett Ellis Muller was born on November 27, 1919, in Noble Township, Cass County, Iowa, the son of Ellis and Esther (Schuler) Muller.
He was a lifelong Cass County resident. Everett attended area country schools and graduated from Grant High School in 1936.
On July 30, 1942, he was married to Mary L. Knoke in Omaha, Nebraska.
Everett owned and operated his own trucking company, and also farmed.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.
Everett is survived by many family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Esther Muller; his brothers, Newton, Wayne, Harland and Kenneth; twin grandsons, Peter and Paul Weston; and a grandson, Chad Everett Hansen.
Memorial graveside services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2008 at St John’s Cemetery, south of Lyman with the Reverend James Hansen of St. John’s United Church of Christ officiating, followed by fellowship and lunch in the church fellowship hall.
Mr. Muller was cremated and no visitation is scheduled.
