Ella Larson, a daughter of John Adolph Larson Sundlokken and Olia Pinnerud grew up in Sand Creek Township, on her fathers farm in Section 1. It was formerly owned by Johns brother Lewie Larson. About 1896, the family moved to a new home in Dovre Township, Barron County. Sometime after living in Dovre Township, she met and married Jens Christiansen about 1913. Jens was living in the Twin Cities at the time of their marraige. Jens died of TB on September 25, 1916 in Sand Creek. Ella and her son James went to live in Minneapolis sometime before 1930. They are listed in the 1930 census there. Ella died in 1937 in Anoka, Minnesota. Ella is buried in an unmarked grave in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, along the south road into the cemetery on the left hand side. Per my mother, she is buried near Jens her husband. Her son James, bought her a velour blue casket, but there is no headstone.
