Beulah Ward White


Beulah Ward White, 77, of Whitewood, died June 21 in a Richlands hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Buchanan County and was a daughter of the late Arch and Rosa Clementine Woosley Ward, both Buchanan County natives.

She was a lifelong resident of the Jewell Valley and Whitewood areas, was a former employee of the Grill at Jewell Valley Company Store at Jewell Valley and was a member of the Baptist Bible Church at Pilgrim Knob.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton White;

one daughter, Wylodine Justus;

one sister, Edna Day;

and two brothers, Clyde Ward and Thurman Ward.

Survivors: daughter, Jacalyn Brewster of Pounding Mill;

son, Archie Q. White of Whitewood;

sisters, Thelma Wimmer of Whitewood, Orpha Dawson of Jackson, OH;

brother, Hassel Ward of Collinsville;

and three grandchildren, Nathaniel White, Tamara Payne and Jeremy Brewster.

The funeral will be conducted June 24 at 1 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. Wayne Halleck and Rev. Andy Maynard officiating.
Interment will follow in the Knob Cemetery at Pea Patch.
Friends may call at the funeral home June 23 after 6 p.m.
