Dorothy Grace Pankratz, age 90, of 1011 S. 25th Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

She was born on March 15, 1924 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Elmer and Olga (Jacobson) Klusmeyer. Dorothy was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1942. On February 15, 1947 she married Robert L. Pankratz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2005. Dorothy was employed with Wisconsin Bell Telephone as a customer service representative, retiring after 20 years of employment.

Survivors include a daughter: Bonnie Horner, Racine; six sons and five daughters-in-law: Greg and Deanne Pankratz, Milwaukee; Daniel Pankratz, Mike and Carmen Pankratz, Patrick and Jenny Pankratz, all of Manitowoc; Peter and MaryClare Pankratz, Minneapolis; Paul and Gena Pankratz, Green Bay; twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law: Judy and Earl Musgrave, Sulpher, OK; and four sisters-in-law: Margaret Pankratz, Manitowoc; Lucy Pankratz, Manitowoc; Jeanette Pankratz, Florida; and Mitzi Pankratz, New Mexico. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by three sisters-in-law: Florence Krueger, Dorothy Miller, Helen Cool; and six brothers-in-law: Ralph, Raymond, Lawrence, Leroy, James and Donald Pankratz.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall - 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry. Cremation will occur after the service at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Dorothy will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall - 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 until 10:45 a.m.
