She was married to Samuel Jay Harmon in 1905. To this union two sons were born, Harold and James. In 1935 she was married to Vaughn Sanders and they made their home in Shannon City, Iowa.
Survivors include one son James Harmon of Collins, one sister Fern Wagner of Waterloo; four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vaughn, a son Harold Harmon, two sisters Emma and Edith and her parents.
