Judy died on December 7, 2014 at Kindred Hospital in Oklahoma City. She is preceded in death by her son, Darrell Dixon; mother, Phyllis Carey; maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents. Judy is survived by her son, Matthew Carey of Erick; father, Johnny Leroy Carey of Oklahoma City; brother, Dale Carey of Sayre; two half brothers, Michael Carey of Tulsa and Brian Carey of Oklahoma City.
