Mrs. Moses Laberee quietly breathed her last on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. She had been a patient sufferer from a protracted liver disease for the past two years. She was born at Alna, Maine October 25, 1830 and when 16 years of age moved with her parents to near Baraboo, Wis., where she was married to Mr. Moses Laberee in 1854. In 1857/58, they moved to Winona and she has ever since been a resident of this city. She was of a quiet retiring disposition. Her chief pleasures were found in the home circle and her ways endeared her to all who made her acquaintance. She leaves her husband and four grown up children; Miss Hattie Laberee, a teacher in the Winona public schools, Mrs. Wallace Galbreath of Lacoa, N.D., Mr. Willet Laberee of Castlewood, S.D., and Mr. Edwin Laberee of Minneapolis. But one brother survives her, Mr. David Turner of Castlewood, S.D. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternooon from the family residence, 218 West Wabasha street.
