Karen S. McCormick, 66, of Chrisney, Ind., passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Karen was born in Evansville, Ind., on August 12, 1948 to the late Edgar R. and Inez M. (Fueger) Sisley.
Karen operated a school bus for the North Spencer County School District. She worked as the Grass Township Trustee and was the President of Midway Cemetery. Karen was "A jack of all trades, master of none".
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Paige McCormick; brother, Edgar A. Sisley.
Karen is survived by her children, Erika Abshire, of Chrisney, Ind., Stephanie McCormick, of Newburgh, Ind., Jason McCormick, of Chrisney, Ind.; sister, Kaye Erney and husband, Tom, of Poland, Ind.; brother, Mike Sisley, of Boonville, Ind.; grandchildren, Drew Blincoe, Joshua Jervis, Cody Abshire, Logan Abshire, Jordan Abshire; great-grandchild, Isabella Jervis; many nieces and nephews.
Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Ind.
Burial is in Midway Cemetery in Midway, Ind.
Visitation 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midway Cemetery.
