Obituary: Hazel J Franklin, 61 of Brooklyn, Susquehanna County, died Wednesday morning, May 5, 1993 at home after an illness. She was the wife of Donald James Franklin.
Born in the same home, daughter of the late Wayne L Bennett and Lillian (Smith) Bennett, she and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for most of her lifetime.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lucinda Franklin Burnham, Little Rock, Ark; four sons, Wayne B, Brooklyn; Dennis J, Kingsley, and Randy L, and James W, both of Montrose; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Lois Rozell, Brooklyn, PA; Mrs Evelyn Crawford, Aurora, NY, and Mrs Norma Bennett, Erin, NY; nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Saturday with services in the Bartron Funeral Home Inc, 74 Church St, Montrose. Interment, West Lenox.
