Born August 30, 1931, in Society Hill, he was a son of the late Dan Rogers, Sr. and the late Letha Hodge Rogers. He served proudly for over 39 years with 151st F.A. BDE of SCNG. He was a member of Lemira Presbyterian Church and Woodmen Life. He worked at Rogers Radiator Works and following his father's retirement he became the owner of Rogers Radiator Works. After his wife's death he stepped right into the kitchen and became a chef. He touched many people's lives over the years with many delicious dishes, pies, and cakes.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Rogers, Jr.; and grandchildren, Jason W. Rogers and D.J. Rockwood, Jr.
