Donna Cochran of Waxhaw, N.C., peacefully passed away at her home on Nov. 25, 2014.
Born April 14, 1945 in Bronx, NY, grew-up in Woodbridge, NJ and lived many years in Jersey City, NJ. She was employed as a salesperson for Guggenheim Aluminum Co. and later Dun & Bradstreet in Bethlehem, PA receiving several prestigious sales awards before relocating to Waxhaw, NC.

One of her favorite hobbies was attending class at Harmony Yoga and being a health and wellness advocate for family and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Irene Barbieri; brother’s Bobby and Louis. She was the devoted wife of Thomas C. Cochran; loving mother of Dennis Maluchnik of Springfield, NJ, Kevin Maluchnik and wife, Lori of Wyomissing, PA; dear step-mother of Kristin Cochran-Schadler and Lindsay Cochran; beloved sister of Joanne Barbieri-Montgomery; sister-in law of Susan Barbieri; cherished grandmother of Lauren, Colin and Alyssa Maluchnik, and Matthew and Andrew Vado; aunt of Sean and Maria Montgomery.

A Memorial service will be held December 7, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews beginning at 2:00pm.
