John Hobson Rayburn Jr. age 82 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Morrison House in Zanesville.

He was born on December 25, 1931 in Cambridge, a son of the late John H. Rayburn Sr. and Gertrude Kirkman Rayburn.

Mr. Rayburn was the owner / operator of Rayburn's Auto. He was a member of the Cambridge Moose and Eagles Lodges.

He is survived by: his wife, Bonnie C. (Powell) Rayburn; a son John (Cheryl) Rayburn of Cambridge; sisters, Ginny Adkins of Uniontown and Ruth Ballweg of Franklin; grandchildren, Amanda (Rick) Regan and BJ (Kelly) Rayburn; great grandchildren, Brody Noble and Elise and Makaela Rayburn; and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by Bill (Sharon) Stashonsky family and the family boxer dog, Max.

John is preceded in death by: his parents; and two sisters, Helen Stage and Betty Leeper.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 5 to 8 pm.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice / 713 Forest Avenue / Zanesville, Ohio 43701 or the American Cancer Society / 3612 Maple Avenue / Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
