Notice that in all censuses, James TODD is listed as James A. TODD (my gggg grandfather) and not James Johnson TODD. This is not my saying that his name was James A. TODD as some people have said, but it is a fact!!! -- Elaine Blackman

They were in Springdale, AR. 1849. In 1849, James went to Calif. Gold Rush. Mary went by wagon to stay with a brother in Barry Co. until James returned. 1874 to Collin Co., TX. Some people have his name as James Johnson TODD, which was his son' s name but not his.
