Duane E. Rose, 87, of Angola, Indiana passed away on September 26, 2010 in Lakeland Nursing Center, Angola, Indiana surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Duane was born on April 1, 1923 to Graydon H. and H. Wilmet (Aldrich) Rose in Angola, Indiana.

He worked at Moore's Business Forms, Angola, IN, Tri-State University, owned Angola Sporting Goods, drove school bus for 20 years, was a car salesman and sold real estate.

He was an active member of the Angola Christian Church where he served as Deacon, Land of Lakes Lions Club, Future Farmers of America in high School and was on the Restoration Committee at Powers Church in Steuben County. He also enjoyed golfing.

Duane married Juanita June Slinker Romine on August 30, 1966. He is survived by his wife Juanita of Angola, 8 sons: Richard and Jennifer Romine of Angola, Michael Romine of Angola, Stephen Romine of Angola, Barry and Brynn Rose of Angola, David and Roxanne Romine of Angola, Jeffrey Romine and Deb Brown, of Ohio, Douglas Romine of Angola, Graydon Rose of Angola; two daughters Cindy Rose of Saginaw, MI and Bonita and Thomas Rose-Barnes of Howe, IN. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Ronald and Barbara Rose of Angola and Charles and Donna Rose of South Carolina, 2 sisters, Harriet and Paul Auginbaugh of St. Petersburg, FL and Martha Latson of Angola, 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Duane loved his God and his Family.

Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, IN.
