Mr. Billy S. Barton, age 81 of Elkton, passed away 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Monday August 8, 2011 10:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Tommy Wilhite and Rev. Doug Tomes officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday August 7, 2011 at Latham Funeral Home.
Billy was born in Butler County, KY May 11, 1930 the son of the late Turner Coleman and Aubrey Charlotte Green Barton. He was a retired auto paint and body man. He was preceded in death besides his parents by his son Paul Dwight Barton in 1971.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Barton of Elkton, three daughters Carol Barton, Susan Barton and Debbie Singleton all of Elkton, KY, one brother Larry Barton of Russellville, KY, two sisters Doris Wells of Lewisburg, KY and Myra Wells of Russellville, KY, 7
Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
