Mehitable Stanyan is said to have been a daughter of John Stanyan (1642 to 1718) and Mary Bradbury (17 Mar 1643 to 29 May 1724).

One source says that the siblings of Mehitable Stanyan were: Mary, James, Jacob (first, probably died very young), Joseph, Ann (b. 17 Feb 1678 and died before 1718, Elizabeth, and Jacob (again). This comes from 'The Cilley Pages.' This source also gives the marriage date of the parents as 17 December 1663 at Salisbury.Married 1696, Exeter, NH
