Debra A. (Baker) Carpenter, 60, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her residence. She was born on October 19, 1954 in Decatur, IN to the late Arthur J. and Agnes E. (Street) Baker. On September 21, 2002 she married Jack L. Carpenter; he died on September 11, 2005.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She previously had worked at Fleetwood.

She is survived by 4 brothers Don (Karen) Baker, Tom (Amanda) Baker, Pat (Kathy) Baker, and John (Christie) Baker all of Decatur; 13 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with calling 1 hour prior in the St. Mary’s Parish Hall from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Father David Voors.

Memorials may be made to North Adams Baseball League or Decatur Girls Softball.
