Andrea Hunt, 71, of Durham passed away suddenly Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Duke Regional Hospital.
Born in Durham County, Ms. Hunt was the daughter of Alvis Hunt and Helen Parrish, of Durham.
Ms. Hunt was preceded in death by her father, Alvis Hunt; her step-father William Gaither Parrish; a brother, Ronald Hunt; and a sister, Sylvia Brewer.
She worked at Liggett – Myers for 25 years and Rhone – Poulenc and currently was an Avon representative.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Hunt is survived by a brother, Kenneth Hunt; and several nieces and nephews. Andrea loved her brother’s dog, Casey.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, with Rev. Brad Caldwell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Clements Funeral Home, Durham.
Flowers are acceptable.
