He was 12th Bishop of the Anglican Church in Belize.
He was ordained in 1956, after completing his training at Codrington College, in Barbados.
He served parishes in Belize until 1961, when he was appointed archdeacon. In 1972, he was the first black to become bishop in Belize.
Both Eldon and his wife were killed when they crashed into a truck parked on the highway. Their daughter, Beverly was with them, but she only had 2 broken legs. The other 2 children were not with them.
