ADAMS, William John, Jr., 70, of Roanoke, died Saturday, 17 Jun 1995, in the V.A. Medical Center. He was a Veteran serving World War II Army. He is survived by his wife, Marie B. Adams; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell ("Red") and Carol Adams, Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Joan D. and Howard Sowers, Roanoke; granchildren, Tonya Lynskey and husband, Nelson, Mitchell ("J. R.") Adams; brother, Dennis J. Adams, Grant, Virginia; sister, Louise Catron and husband Edward, Marion. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Paul E. Lockhart officiating with burial to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
