H. Doyle Brewer - November 27, 2014

Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa & Great, Great Grandpa, passed away unexpectedly the morning of November 27, 2014.

He was born to Erastus Heber & Louise Margaret Ward Brewer in Clear Creek, Utah and later graduated from Wasatch Academy in 1956

He married Shirley Austin. They would later divorce.

He married his sweetheart and the love of his life, the fiery redhead, Mollie (Mar Louise) Adams.

Doyle was “Dad” to 5 children- Todd Doyle, Trent Donald, Robbin Gaye, Brenda Louise and Jennifer Lynn.

Preceded in death by his parents, his brother William (Bill) Brewer and his grandson Tyler C. Brewer.

Doyle is survived by his Wife Mollie, 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 10 ½ great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Camping, hunting, fishing and golfing gave Doyle great pleasure and joy, but his greatest joy was time spent with family and friends. He enjoyed every moment he could capture with those that he loved.

He may not have been able to spend time with everyone but those he couldn’t see very often were always in his thoughts and within his heart. He tried to be the best person he could possibly be.

He was a long time member of the Granger Fraternal Order of Eagles 3285, where he was a Past President and held several other offices within the organization. He also belonged to the Ogden chapter. He was an “Eagle” through and through.

Doyle retired from Mountain Fuel Supply Company (now known as Questar gas) in 1991. He then worked for Karl Malone Toyota for 7 years until his health took its toll and he had to retire for good.

He never liked to be stagnant and he loved doing “things,” He always had to do something like read a book, watch old westerns, volunteer at his church, or fix his damn sprinkling system over, and over every year.

Even on his rough days he still tried to be as active as possible. He was not the type of man to just “BE”.

In his later years, he enjoyed going to “the trailer” that he kept in Ogden canyon where he spent as much time as he could get away with. He was a member of Life Church in West Valley City, UT where he volunteered and made several lifelong friends. He was a spiritual person and had a personal relationship with God.

We have faith that he is with his loved ones that have passed before him and they are welcoming him home to a place where he can finally breathe easy and to where he will never have to haul around his oxygen tank (aka: Matilda) ever, ever again.

Until we meet again, may you forever rest in peace and comfort Doyle.

Farewell.

Amen and Blessed Be.
