Mrs. Sue Crawford, 82, of Irwin, died at 2:30 p.m. yesterday at the Butler County Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Edward E. and Margaret Fay Tracy. She was a member of the Bruin Methodist Church, the Gold Star Mothers, and the Petroleum Valley American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Miles (Edna) Snyder of Brookfield Ohio, and Ethel Crawford of Bruin; a son, Edward E. Crawford of Cowansville RD 1; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; a sister, and a number of nieces and nephews. A son, Eugene Crawford, was killed in action in World War II. Another son, Elmer, died in 1947, and a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Smart, in 1961. CRAWFORD – Friends of Mrs. Sue Crawford of Irwin, who died Monday, November 15, 1965, will be received at the Hepler funeral home, Petrolia, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Buchanan, pastor of the Bruin Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
