Funeral services will be saturday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist church with the Rev. A.D. Adams officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Gray-Brown Service Mortuary in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Liddie Jacks; three daughters, Mrs. Avis Maurine Cruse of Falls Church, Va., Mrs. Mildred Anderson of East Point, Ga., and Mrs. Peggy Schmitter of Anniston; a son, William C. Jacks of Anniston; a sister, Mrs. Annie Cardwell of Anniston; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Chapman, Jotie Cobb, Herbert Cheatwood, Bill Chapman, A. G. Turner and Fred Turner.
Mr. Jacks was a native of Cleburne County and lived in Calhoun County most of his life. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, and was a retired farmer.
The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to services.
