FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Eldon L. "Shorty" Mosler, 72, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Wednesday, June 24, 2003, at his home.

He was born April 22, 1931, at Oswego, to Clyde and Lois Mosler. He grew up in Oswego.

He married Dorothy Moore in 1952. She survives.

Mr. Mosler farmed in Kansas until 1976, when he moved to Arkansas and managed real estate and other businesses. He was the proprietor of Dot's Diner at Cave Springs, Ark., for eight years.

Additional survivors include three daughters, Debbie Kitchin and Julie Mosler, both of Portland, Ore., and Sharon Ackerson of Fayetteville; two sons, Steve Mosler of Powhaton, Va., and Mark Mosler of Vancouver, Va.; one brother, Delbert Mosler of Altamont; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Oswego with Pastor Pat Robinson officiating.

Memorial services will follow in Oswego Senior Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville and Bath Funeral Home of Chetopa.
