Wife of Walter H. Stuckey.Ridge Spring, Jan. 5 — Mrs. Walter Hamer Stuckey, the former Mary Miller DuBose, 83, died this morning at her residence after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Dr. John Boyd DuBose and Sara E. Scarborough and the granddaughter of the late William Harrison Scarborough, portrait painter of Columbia.

Mrs. Stuckey was a member of Grace Episcopal church here and church treasurer for 55 years.

Survivors include her husband W. H. Stuckey of Ridge Spring; one son, DuBose Stuckey of Greenwood; one daughter, Mrs. Lewis P. Watson of Raleigh, N. C.; one sister, Mrs. F. G. Asbill of Ridge Spring, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Saturday morning from the Grace Episcopal church here by Bishop J. J. Gravatt and the Rev. Cedric Cope. Interment will follow in Ridge Spring cemetery. The body will remain at Ridge funeral home until the service hour.
