Mrs. Barber was born Sept. 21, 1959, in Naples, Texas. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Douglassville, Texas.
Survivors include one son, Mario Barber of Mesquite, Texas; two daughters, Keria Oliver of Atlanta and Sharda Barber of Texarkana; one brother, Simel Barber of Lancaster, Texas; one sister, Bonnie Ivory of Marietta, Texas; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be noon Saturday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop J. Peters officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Marietta, under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
The body may be viewed noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
