Funeral services for Mrs. Julia M. Bryant, 87, Tyler, are scheduled for noon Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at College Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Nolan Ross, eulogist, and the Rev. Kennedy Young officiating.

Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under di-
rection of Community Funeral Home of Tyler. Mrs. Bryant died Dec. 2, 2014, at The Hospice of East Texas.

She was born June 9, 1927, in Tyler and had resided her lifetime in Smith County. She attended W.A. Peete School, was a member of College Hill Baptist Church, serving as deaconess and a member of the senior and sanctuary choirs. She was a member of Grand Court Order of Calanthe of Texas No. 305. Mrs. Bryant retired as a housekeeper from a private home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.W. Bryant; one son, Billy R. Brown; and one grandson, Vacarro Bell.

Survivors include two sons, Pastor Clinton A. (Elaine) Brown, John (Debra) Bryant Jr.; four daughters, Judy (Ronnie) Washington, Ann (Carl) Moore, Sheila Brown Young, Carolyn Bryant; one brother, M.C. Davis Jr.; and a host of grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Community Funeral Home of Tyler. The family will receive friends at 1320 S. Lyons Ave. from 5 to 9 p.m.
