Emily died of cancer at a relatively young age. Her husband Jefferson was a
part time doctor. He scared his 7 child so badly with stories of cancer being
hereditary etc that 5 of the 7 children never married. A very sad story of
misguided concern.
She was originally interred in the Craddock Family Cemetery with her parents John Robert and Amanda Childers Craddock. Twenty years later her family had her moved to the Rogers Cemetery in Rogers, Bell, Texas, USA.∼Bell County Cemetery Records, Volume 1 states:
