Charles P. Myers of Scotch Bush Road, Ballston Lake, formerly of Worden Road, this city, died yesterday [21 June] at his home following a long illness. He was 52 years old.
Survivors besides his wife, Mrs. Ethel E. Green Myers, are two sons, Charles Myers of Ballston Lake address, and Marvin Myers of Swaggertown Road; four daughters, Mrs. Louis Denis of Charlton, and Mrs. Walter Martine, Miss Lillian Myers and Miss Joan Myers, all of Ballston Lake and five grandchildren.
Mr. Myers, who was born in Schenectady, had lived here most of his life until moving to Ballston Lake a few months ago. He had been employed in the General Electric Co. for 29 years as a machinist and was a member of the Quarter Century Club there.
Private funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, at the James Funeral Home, Scotia, with Rev. Harry J. White, pastor of the Burnt Hills Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Sweetman Cemetery, Charlton.
