Jeffrey Sherman Walters, 53, of the Mt. Horeb Road, Princeton, died peacefully at his home Wednesday evening, December 3, 2014 following a short illness with cancer. Born June 29, 1961 in Princeton, he was the son of Glenna Frances Shrader Walters of Princeton and the late James Robert Walters. Jeffrey was a 1979 graduate of Princeton High School. Jeffrey truly loved working with horses and was well known for his horse training abilities. The smile on his face while enjoying his farm and animals will be missed by many. He was a member of the Kee Street United Methodist Church in Princeton. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Walters Jr. along with his grandparents, Joe and Mandy Walters and Cecil and Mildred Shrader. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Glenna, sisters, Rebecca Walters and Wendy Tilley both of Princeton, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. The family has honored Jeffrey's request, his body has been cremated and a private service to scatter his cremains will be held at a later date.
