Earia Wayne Hopkins died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 1981, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 33, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a Jim Best Construction Co. foreman and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., with Masonic services, and Religious services, conducted by the Rev. Bob Anderson. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Susan (Templet) Hopkins; mother, Mrs. Lillian (Hood) Hopkins; a son, Jacob Wayne Hopkins; a sister, Mrs. Lee Earl (Jackie) Townsend. All survivors reside in Baton Rouge.

Preceded in death by his father, Jake E. Hopkins.

Pallbearers will be Harold Armstrong, Henry Wallace, Robert and Cornell Templet, Douglas Hood and Garney B. Hood, Jr.

He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and Milford Lodge No. 117 F&AM, Hope Villa.
