Survived by his wife, Mrs. Susan (Templet) Hopkins; mother, Mrs. Lillian (Hood) Hopkins; a son, Jacob Wayne Hopkins; a sister, Mrs. Lee Earl (Jackie) Townsend. All survivors reside in Baton Rouge.
Preceded in death by his father, Jake E. Hopkins.
Pallbearers will be Harold Armstrong, Henry Wallace, Robert and Cornell Templet, Douglas Hood and Garney B. Hood, Jr.
He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and Milford Lodge No. 117 F&AM, Hope Villa.
