Bill Maxwell, 93, of Dripping Springs, Texas, died December 3, 2014. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 6, at Clifton Funeral Home in Clifton, Texas, with a 3 p.m. graveside service immediately following in Boggy Cemetery.

Bill was born in Coryell County, Texas, to the late James William Maxwell and Nellie Blye Rutherford. He married Maxine Lovern Huse on September 27, 1947. A long-time resident of Waco, Texas, he served in the United States Army during World War II as a small arms technician. He was also a musician, played guitar and sang, hosting a brief early morning radio program on WACO radio station during the 1940s. Bill worked 30 plus years at Certain Teed Corp in Waco.

Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Christine and Alma; brothers: Jim, Smilon, Olan, Stoney, Grady, Rady; five half-brothers; and a half-sister.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Maxine; son, Randall Maxwell; grandchildren, Amy and Caleb Maxwell, of Dripping Springs; many other relatives and numerous friends.
