Paul Parnell, 92, of Champaign, formerly of Bondville, died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 4, 2014) at home.
He was born Jan. 7, 1922 in Bondville to William Jacob and Mabel L. Pike Parnell. He married Isabelle Pasley in Champaign on Nov. 3, 1946 and she preceded him in death on Sept. 11, 2011.
Survivors include one son, Richard (Linda) Parnell; one daughter, Christine Parnell-Sylvester; three grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Allen, Laura Parnell and Jill (David) Cain and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Parnell farmed his entire life in the Bondville and Mahomet area and was a member of the Mahomet United Methodist Church.
