Randall L. “Randy” Hoffman, 63, formerly of Sones Hollow Road, Benton (Jackson Township), died Wednesday evening, Dec. 3, 2014, at the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Health Care Center where he had been a resident for several years.
Born Dec. 7, 1950, in Elysburg, he was a son of the late William and Martha Hoffman. He was raised by his foster parents, Ivan and Helen (Young) Fritz of Jackson Township.
Randy was a 1970 graduate of Benton High School and had attended the Lungerville Christian Church.
In addition to his foster parents, he was preceded in death by a foster brother, Kenneth L. Fritz, who died Jan. 21, 2007.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Waller Cemetery, Jackson Township, with Pastor James E. Harvey, Lungerville Christian Church, officiating. There will be no public viewing. Arrangements are under the direction of the McMichael Funeral Home Inc., Benton.
