Virginia Lee Knapp Curtice 8/23/1919 to 9/29/2013 Born in Littlerock, WA to Charles L. and Sally Carroll. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands Donald R. Knapp and Bert E. Curtice, brothers Charles L. and Hugh S. Carroll, sisters Juanita Hostetter and Ruth Hora, daughters Donna Lee Teixeira and Jeanne Marie Longpre', and grandsons Joseph Charles and Eric Lynn Texeira. Survived by sons Marlin Max Haywood and Charles L. Knapp (Ellen), daughter Bobbie Kay Wicklander (Rick), sons-in-law Joe Teixeira and Tim Longpre', 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Virginia (Ginny) was a member of the Lutheran Church of Christ the King and a Past Matron of Faith Chapter OES. A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of Christ the King, 1710 85th St. E., Tacoma, on Saturday, October, 5, 2013, 3p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to favorite charities. Fir Lane Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
