Angela C. (Nagle) Robertson, 95, of Rehoboth formerly of Seekonk, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. She was the wife of the late J. Donald Robertson.

Angela was born in Fall River the daughter of the late Michael and Bridged (Maher) Nagle. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1937 and then earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from Byrant College in 1941. Angela began her teaching career as a Business Teacher at Joseph Case High School in Swansea. She then raised her family for several years, returning to teach at the North Elementary School in Seekonk for twenty years, retiring in 1982.

Mrs. Robertson was a communicant at Our Lady Queen of Martyr Church in Seekonk. She was a Marion Medal Recipient at the former Saint Mary’s Church. Angela taught CCD, was a Eucharistic Minister and was active with the senior saints club. Mrs. Robertson was an avid reader who cherished the time she spent with her family and friends especially her grandchildren who knew her as Nana.

Survivors are three daughters: Ann Michael and her husband Granville of Antigua; Karen Brum of Tiverton, RI; Sherry Ustas and her husband Thomas of Rehoboth, MA; four sons: Donald Robertson and his wife Jean of Atlantic Beach, FL; Harold Robertson and his wife Nancy of Westport, MA; Barry Robertson and his wife Betsy of Sunland, CA; John Robertson and his wife Carla of New Wilmington, PA; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She was the Nana to the late Michaela Ustas and sister of the late Clare J., Robert J., Harold C., and Hillard M. Nagle.

Funeral Information

CALLING HOURS for Angela will be held on WEDNESDAY, December 3, 2014 from 4-7pm in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, with a Mass of Christian burial to follow on THURSDAY December 4, 2014 at 10am in Our Lady Queen of Martyr Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, directly to the church, burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery Fall River.
