George Drumm

Effingham-George P. Drumm, 71, of Effingham died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 1993, at his home.

The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson funeral Home, Effingham. The body will be cremated. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Visiting Nurse Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Mr. Drumm was born Dec. 28, 1921, in Wausau, Wis., the son of George and Nina (Dickinson) Drumm. He married Olive Bremer in 1944.

He was a civil engineer and an architect; senior vice president of Moritz Corp., Effingham, before retiring; a member of Masonic Lodge 149, Effingham, and Ainad Shrine, East St. Louis; and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife; son, David of Flagstaff, Ariz.; daughter, Mrs. Phil (Gay) Tegler of Paris, Ill., Mrs. Tom (Charlyn) Hille of Broken Arrow, Ariz.; mother of Wausau, Wis.; brother, Ronald of Wausau; and six grand-children.

He was preceded in death by his father.
