Effingham-Donald W. Hanna, 45, of Effingham died at 5:37 a.m. Monday, Oct 16, 1989, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
A Memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Arborcrest memorial Park chapel, west of Effingham. There will be no visitation. Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, is in charge of arrangments.
Mr. Hanna was born Aug. 20, 1944 in Livingston County, the son of William L. and Nettie (Cording) Hanna. He married Mary Miller in 1964.
He was a teacher of auto mechanics and computer science at Effingham high School and was a locksmith. He was member of the Effingham Elks and the national teaching organization.
Surviving are his wife; children, Gregory Hanna of Des Moines, Iowa, Keith and Debbie Porter of Muscatine, Iowa; parents of Chatsworth; brother, Dale of Chatsworth; sisters Carolyn Fitzpartrick of Champaign, Sandy Mayer of Rantoul.
