Mr. Dale Roger Neal, age 56, husband of Gloria Malpass Neal of 140 Haney Rd., Buffalo, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013.
Mr. Neal was born in Blackwater, VA September 9, 1956, son of Wilma Gilliam Neal of Buffalo and the late Leonard Howard Neal. He was a 1972 graduate of Union High School and was employed with Cone Mill- Carlisle Finishing. Dale was an active member of Victory Baptist Church and loved taking care of people in his community by being a handyman and also loved gardening. Dale was a loving and devoted son, husband, father and brother.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Dawn Neal of Buffalo and Michelle Pilgrim and husband Sammy of Greenville; a granddaughter, Samantha ; a sister, Marlene Neal of Columbia; two brothers: Tony Neal and wife Susan of Union and Eric Neal and wife Tammy of Fountain Inn; a mother-in-law, Nell Malpass of Union; several nieces and nephews and a special companion, his pet Maltipoo, Roxy.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Victory Baptist Church conducted by Rev. David Burrell and Rev. J.R. Carrigan.
Active pallbearers will be Lynn West, Bo Berry, Gerald Graham, Phillip Franklin, Terry Fisher and Woody Parker. Employees of Cone Mill-Carlisle Finishing are asked to sit in a group.
Visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 PM Saturday evening at Victory Baptist Church.
