Terry Lava Watkins, 70, passed away December 2, 2014, at Danville Regional Hospital. He was the son of Elizabeth Kimpleton Bowling of Roman Eagle and the brother of Jay Watkins, the son of Pete Watkins.
Terry will be remembered for his many professions: he was a police officer, a marshall and a sheriff. He could speak many languages including German, Latin and Greek. As his day job, he had worked for the Hatcher Center for about fifty years,stuffing pillows with foam and cotton.
Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
