Sandy Strawhecker Johnson was born May 18, 1944 to Helen and Jim Strawhecker. She left this life on November 27, 2014, after a period of debilitating illness.
Sandy worked in Sacramento medical offices and recently retired from the Placer County Assessor's Office. She attended Calvary Chapel Auburn and was a fervent believer in Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ron Johnson and grandson Dakota. She is survived by her sister Shirley (Ed), children Darren (Tiffany), Maurice (Shary) and Renee (Myles) and grandchildren Karah, Loren, Lori, Cheyenne, Savanna, Alyssa, James, Zachary, her family in Georgia and her little dog, Charlie.
Sandy was loved by many who knew her. Her parting verse was Psalms 73:26 "My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever."
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel Auburn on December 7, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Donations may be given to Calvary Chapel in Sandy's honor (1101 Auburn Ravine Road, Auburn, CA 95603).
