Carla Elaine Howard, age 49, of Grayson, was born on August 4th, 1957 and died April 4th, 2007. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, April 9th, 2007 at 11AM at Pope Dickson & Son, Morrow Chapel with Rev. David Poe and Rev. Lamar Howard, officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, April 7, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8PM, and Sunday, April 8, 2007 from 2-4PM. Carla was a Godly woman. This was reflected in her Christian love for her husband, children, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Avonell Madge Jenkins; father and mother-in-law, Grady Wilburn and Mildred Estelle Howard.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Howard; daughters, Cristin Leighanna Howard and Dana Nicole Howard; father and step-mother, William Carl and Barbara Ann Jenkins; sister, Tamera J. Bowers; brother-in-law, Bates B. Bowers, III; nephew, Bates B. Bowers, IV; six sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law.
