Belma A. Lee passed away Aug., 25, 1996, in For tuna at the age of 76. She was a resident of Rio Dell.
A lifelong resident of Humboldt County, Belma was born Nov. 9, 1919 in Fortuna. She had lived most of her life in the Fortuna area and for the past 16 years had made her home in Rio Dell.
She had worked for Foremost Creamers as a packer for several years.
Belma was a member of Pocahontas Lodge of Rio Dell.
She is survived by her son, Willard Lee of Rio Dell; two daughters, Belma Guerrero of Scotia and Roberta Verbich of Fortuna; and sister, Dorothy Flocchini of Eureka. She i s also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and numerous niece, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by a son, William S. Lee; four brothers, Arthur Oliveira, Clarence Oliveira, Alfred Oliveira , and Robert Oliveira, and a sister, Dolinda Silva.
Private family services will be held with interment at Sunrise Cemetery, Fortuna.
Arrangements are under the direction Goble's Chapel, Fortuna.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2942 F St., Eureka, 95501.
