Homegoing celebration for Mr. Ralph J. Watkins Sr. "Ronnie" who passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11 am, Northeast United Methodist Church, 6400 N. 15th St., Rev. Gregory T. Hill, officiating. The Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Brother Ralph Joseph Watkins Sr. "Ronnie" was born Feb. 22, 1953 in Tampa to the late George Watkins and Deloris Turner. He attended Hillsborough County Public schools and was a graduate of Middleton High School. He was preceded in death by parents, step-dad, Rudolph Turner; sister, Caroline Bellamy; brother, Jimmie Watkins; and mother-in-law, Helen Mitchell. He leaves behind lifelong incredible memories with his loving wife, Gloria T. Watkins; sons, Ralph J. Watkins Jr. (Charte), Rechee Wilson (Brandi), Eric Patmon (Becky), and Gerald Patmon (Latonya); daughters, Sharon Johnson (Henry), Annette Wright, Shuntell Pearson (Ronnie), and Lisa Rodriguez,; a loving aunt, Margie Lucas; 32 grandchildren; special friends, Tyronne Ponder, Ronnie Wright and City of Tampa Waste Water; goddaughters, Vauncheilura Anderson (Charles) and Louise Reynolds-Wilson (Stanley). The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday, Dec. 5, from 5-8 pm. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the funeral service.
