Mrs. Mary Ellen Harris, age 68 of School House Branch Road in Manchester, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 5th, 2006 at her home. She was born November 6th, 1937 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Cleveland & Molly Walden Marcum. She was a homemaker & a member of the Happy Hill Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband: Ellis Harris, her son: Gary Harris & wife Fonda of Manchester, her daughters: Deborah Reid & husband Danny of Manchester, & Diana Hurt & husband Tom of Manchester. 8 Grandchildren survive: Amy Lynn Simmons, Kenneth Bradley Harris, Roy Brandon Harris, Christopher Johnson, Michael Daniel Reid, Ellis Reid, Wesley Collins, & Andrew Collins. 2 Great Grandchildren survive: Cody Simmons & Corson Johnson as well as 2 sisters: Locie Henson of Manchester, & Bertha Combs of Manchester.
She is preceded in death by her sister: Eva Harris & her parents: Cleveland & Molly Walden Marcum.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Harris will be Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wade Hacker & Rev. Eddie Carl Gibson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
She loved her church and was a faithful member. She is dearly missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
