MAGDALENA "LENA" SHELL, 72, died Tuesday in Fort Wayne. Born in Loogootee, she owned and operated Shell's Country Store in Topeka. Surviving are her husband, Roswell L.; a son, Timothy Shell of Topeka; two sisters, Katie Nissley of Wolcottville and Fannie Lambright of Topeka; six brothers, Dave Yoder of Hicksville, Ohio, Jacob Yoder of LaGrange, Cletus Yoder of Topeka, Amos Yoder of Grabill, Simon Yoder of Goshen and John Yoder of Millersburg; and three grandchildren. Services at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Mervin W. Yoder residence, 11750 N. 600 West-57 Topeka. Calling after2 p.m. today and all day Thursday at the Tim Shell residence, 6305 West 800 South, Topeka. Burial in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka. Arrangements by Ulrey-Renner Funeral Home, Ligonier.
