Langley was born in Washington, D.C., son of the late Congressman John W. Langley, Sr. and Congresswoman Katherine Gudger Langley. He was a retired businessman and restaurateur and was a Kentucky Colonel. Langley was a 1929 graduate of Randolph-Macon Military Academy of Bedford, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Goldie Little Langley; one sister, Suzanne L. Todd of Clearwater, Florida; two nephews, David and Clark Todd, Jr.; and one niece, Mrs. Gloria Keller.
Services were held 11 a.m. Monday, February 9 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Elders Monroe Jones, Delbert Sanders, and others officiated.
Burial was in the Johnson Memorial Gardens in Pikeville. Baker Funeral Home of Pikeville was the arrangements.
